ExxonMobil Capital Project Business Services Lead (Beaumont) in Beaumont, Texas
Job Role Summary
The Business Lead is the primary Project Services interface for a site and serves as the interface point between the site and the Project Services function within the functional matrix. Works closely with the Project Services Supervisor to ensure the technical performance of the team is suitably supported.
Job Role Responsibilities
Site responsibility for Project Services, which includes Project Controls, Cost and Schedule and Benchmarking
Responsibilities may include Information management systems, change management and business controls
Lead, mentor, and develop Project Services team employees
Liaises with Supervisor to support timely assignment of Project Services resource for site / portfolio supported
Provides site input into Project Services discipline health assessment activities in support of collective competency
May be responsible for compliance with/administration of ExxonMobil Contracts e.g. Venture Agreements, EPCs, Vendors/Suppliers, Materials Management, etc.
Actively maintains effective relationships / Interface coordination with ExxonMobil Affiliate(s) and/or Business Line(s) at site
Ensures compliance with Financial Controls e.g. Capital Budget Manual requirements, Corporate Planning, Audit, Management of Proprietary Information and coordination of corporate support (e.g. Law, Tax, Treasurers, and HR)
Supports overall business plan development and specific aspects of site stewardship
Supports development, maintenance & enhancement of project services’ tools, practices and procedures
Supports/executes site specific benchmarking program and influences site strategies based on results
Supports cost engineering efforts for site with data and site specific knowledge and technical engagement
Job Requirements
Primarily working from office located at manufacturing site in Beaumont, TX
Minimal travel (5%)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
7-12 years minimum experience in Capital Project Cost Estimating, Scheduling &/or Controls
Previous experience working in Downstream Petrochemical facilities
Experience working with SAP and financial reporting systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Interested in a long term career with ExxonMobil Global Projects and open to moving to other locations for future assignments
