ExxonMobil Machinery Engineer in Beaumont, Texas
Job Role Summary
- Machinery Engineers will support the Beaumont Refining and Chemical Complex as part of Beaumont Area Engineering Services.
Job Role Responsibilities
Obtain and evaluate equipment characteristics from the design phase
Support pump reliability
Support compressor reliability
Review and endorse repair evaluations, repair specifications and procedures for special purpose machinery and general purpose as required
Supports or leads RCFAs dependent on severity of incident or if equipment is a bad actor
Ensure reliability metrics are properly captured and recorded
Generate Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Documents (QA Sheets) for Special Purpose Machinery
Support the Quality Assurance of machinery maintenance activities
Participate in equipment strategy development and maintenance plan (GRS 6A/6C)
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline or higher
Demonstrated leadership experience (group / event lead or equivalent roles)
Strong Technical and Interpersonal Abilities
Has experience with rotating equipment or Engineering support roles in a Refining Chemical or Polyolefins Plant
