ExxonMobil Machinery Engineer in Beaumont, Texas

Job Role Summary

  • Machinery Engineers will support the Beaumont Refining and Chemical Complex as part of Beaumont Area Engineering Services.

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Obtain and evaluate equipment characteristics from the design phase

  • Support pump reliability

  • Support compressor reliability

  • Review and endorse repair evaluations, repair specifications and procedures for special purpose machinery and general purpose as required

  • Supports or leads RCFAs dependent on severity of incident or if equipment is a bad actor

  • Ensure reliability metrics are properly captured and recorded

  • Generate Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Documents (QA Sheets) for Special Purpose Machinery

  • Support the Quality Assurance of machinery maintenance activities

  • Participate in equipment strategy development and maintenance plan (GRS 6A/6C)

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline or higher

  • Demonstrated leadership experience (group / event lead or equivalent roles)

  • Strong Technical and Interpersonal Abilities

  • Has experience with rotating equipment or Engineering support roles in a Refining Chemical or Polyolefins Plant
