ExxonMobil Customer Engagement and Project Integration Analyst in Billings, Montana
Job Role Summary
Role is a long-term site anchor / technical Customer Experience employee for Billings Refinery and Western US field sites. This role requires an experienced technical analyst to support various IT projects and initiatives at sites across the Western US including Montana, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, and California. Responsibilities include managing projects, coordinating with other team members, consulting with customers, and interfacing with the business for special requests. In addition this role may help in other areas of IT support at the site. This position will be based out of the Billings Refinery and require up to 50% travel.
Responsibilities
Coordination and facilitation of projects and key activities
Steward project deployment at site and keep stakeholders updated with progress
Guide team to execute project in accordance to EMIT best practices, steward activity locally and provide local feedback/update to project team
Maintain diverse skillset for project delivery - majority of project support activities have an infrastructure focus, but projects may require other specific skills (e.g. supporting application rollouts, phone systems, security systems)
Request quotes from vendors with specs needed
Initiate PO’s for projects, track progress and ensure payment upon receipt
Facilitate status updates with vendors, ExxonMobil counterparts, and business stakeholders
Facilitate project work across HCL resources
Create CRQs for changes
Lead Cyber BCP IT planning
Serve as IT focal point for customer engagement
Develop trusting relationship with business customers
Maintain intimate knowledge of all sites supported
Coordinate site IT communications
Drive business change to take advantage of digital technology
Engage customers to understand productivity challenges (when existing solution available, support customer in adoption; when not possible, warm handover to Productivity Solutions or respective Capability Team)
Help train and mentor MSP staff
Prevent regulatory and compliance issues from arising by performing work required by non-MSP staff (i.e. stockroom verifications)
