To further capitalize on commercial insights, we are rapidly building our trading, origination & analytical capabilities to capture new assets and enter new market areas in the US. The current opportunity is for an Commercial Coordinator, to join our team, as part of ExxonMobil’s Spring Texas campus.

What role would you play within our team.

If successful you will be an integral part of our Crude and Condensate Trading team, supporting our traders in the execution of day to day activities.

The key deliverables include:

  • Daily position monitoring, analysis and balancing; resolving issues with our risk control team

  • Developing complex global and regional balances to enhance opportunity identification across all markets, to inform trading opportunities

  • Developing and maintaining live dashboards, to provide technical and fundamental analysis, in order to identify market opportunities.

  • Evaluating upfront and after the fact (daily / monthly) trading economics

  • Preparing economics and relevant documentation for term contracts and complex tenders; including acting as the primary interface with our risk control, operations, optimization, schedulers and other supporting teams.

  • Assisting with special projects, testing and roll-outs (as required)

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our trade execution process

  • Acting as back-up Trader (experience dependent)

Who are we looking for.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree, combined with Crude trade floor experience

  • Have experiences in support functions that enabled physical and paper trading, including risk management, trading analytics, scheduling and / or position matching

  • Be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, an entrepreneurial mind-set and analytical/IT skills

  • Possess a broad range of personal effectiveness and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate and influence business decisions in a multi-cultural team environment

  • Have fluent English language skills (written and spoken), with additional language skills being desirable
