Instructional Design / Knowledge Management
Partners with senior management to assess short/long-term training needs
Engages internal learning customers to identify needs for new/additional programs, courses, or services
Conducts needs analysis using instructional design methodology to identify learning modality (ADDIE model)
Identifies content to create learning solutions, determines approach to source content to enhance vendor delivered curricula
Designs supplemental resources to enhance curated content, such as job aids or discussion guides
Facilitates virtual and in-person training; monitors and reports on the effectiveness of training
Recommends research methods to assess the effectiveness of training (Kirkpatrick’s’ s Evaluation levels)
Utilizes analytics to communicate appropriate and consistent metrics to business stakeholders and vendors, including recommending next steps
Project / Vendor Management
Researches and recommends services provided by external consultants or organizations, participates in negotiations and/or administering contract/service agreements
Participates in assessing the effectiveness and/or partnerships with vendors
Leads learning projects, including identification of tasks, timelines, and deliverables
May lead the work of others (mentors, prioritizes, delegates, and reviews assignments)
Serves as point-of-contact for their portfolios and associated curricula; enables collaboration with HR, vendors, university partners and the Business
Manages portfolio budget; leverages service providers to develop solutions; identifies and manages external vendors to develop and/or deliver solutions
Identifies vendors with appropriate instructional design standards and intellectual property required to meet the business needs; manages contracts / relationships to achieve desired objectives
Extracts maximum value from service providers, vendors, university partners; leverages technology and leading techniques to structurally reduce costs; supports maximum virtual/blended model to deliver quality solutions at lowest cost
Successful Candidates will:
Serve as primary CLO contact in job family networks; formulates solution(s) plan outputs from skills health assessments and evolving business needs, develops solutions aligned with business strategies and/or Career Community objectives
Align work tasks to CLO tools and process to manage solution lifecycle including enhancements, updates or retirements; includes use of Global Learning and Development (GLAD) process
Work in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems, root causes and drive valuable solutions
Have a strong drive to create a positive work environment, leveraging a highly diverse workforce
Interface across all levels of the organization
Operate with autonomy and discretion in a complex and rapidly changing work environment
Have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Business, Education, Instructional Design, or related discipline
10+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge of learning technologies such as SAP, Vyond, Storyline, Poll Anywhere, Survey Monkey, Miro, Mural
Preferred Experience:
Master’s Degree
Completion of a professional designation preferred, appropriate designations could include Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)
