Pre-Employment Testing Requirement
.This Operations and Mechanical (O&M) position requires pre-employment testing. After submitting your application for this position you will receive an email with the link to complete the online assessment. If you have already taken the assessment within 365 days, you do not have to retest. Your test scores will be transferred to this requisition. If have not completed the test previously, please ensure that you complete the test by the indicated deadline.
The Maintenance Mechanic responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the installation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical equipment. It is also a training position to prepare employees to assume roles and responsibilities of other positions necessary in the operation and maintenance of the ExxonMobil business. This position is expected to respond to call outs, as needed, and may be required to work overtime, weekends and holidays. This position may direct the work of others if less experienced. The Maintenance Mechanic may steward contractor activities from time to time.
This position requires work indoors or outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, at elevated heights and/or in confined spaces, and may require time away from home. Employees in this position are expected to reside within 45 - 60 minutes from the office location so that they can provide a timely response to emergency call outs. This position works in the proximity of various hydrocarbon products, electrical circuits, and machinery. When driving to/from different work sites, this position is exposed to vehicle traffic hazards.
Position does not include travel expense reimbursement or relocation.

Performs all duties in a safe manner and in compliance with all state and federal regulations including responsibilities and accountabilities as outlined in the EH&S Management System
Successfully completes all Regulatory required and Company assigned training (i.e., DOT, OSHA, Company)
Installs, maintains, and repairs pumping equipment, meters, and valves
Installs, maintains, and repairs controllers and other mechanical equipment
Follows established mechanical testing procedures and applicable standards
Performs all duties in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations (DOT, API, etc,)
Operates mechanical equipment and facilities as required
Utilizes precision tools and test equipment as needed
Identifies and effectively utilizes outsourced services
Trains and guides others to learn duties of Mechanic Maximum
