ExxonMobil Records and Documentation Coordinator in Spring, Texas
Job Summary
Responsible for the planning and coordination of responsibilities related to records management and documentation handling across ExxonMobil Pipeline Company, LLC (EMPCo). This position is also responsible for assisting in the administration of controls requirements within EMPCo’s Right of Way group.
Position is located at EMPCo’s Spring, TX office.
Job Primary Functions
Provide administrative and field support for ExxonMobil’s Records Management Guidelines and Information Protection for all departments and functions in ExxonMobil Pipeline Company
Work closely with Graphics and Operations to ensure accurate drawings and operating instructions are in the filed sites as required, and provide training as necessary
Provide support for managing controls requirements for Payables and Receivables functions within ExxonMobil Pipeline Company’s Right of Way group
Support audits and assessments related to the items described here
Provide support for department purchase orders and procurement activities
Assist with development and administration of documentation requirements throughout ExxonMobil Pipeline Company’s Operations and Engineering groups
Provide oversight and communication to EMPCo’s Department Records Contacts (DRC)
Support administration of department behavior-based safety programs
Provide administrative support for internal collaboration and information websites
Assume responsibility as custodian for Company vital records
Job Requirements
A minimum of two years of College (e.g., AA Degree) or commensurate work experience, combined with a minimum of 5 years of experience with either a pipeline or oil and gas company
Must work effectively with minimal direct supervision and be able to prioritize multiple tasks; must be flexible and able to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to steward work progress of other teams and help lead initiatives, while being accountable for results
Ability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of company’s policies, procedures, and operations
Strong personal organization skills; effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong personal computing skills, including MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Valid Driver’s License
Able to travel overnight for work requirements, up to an estimated 20% of work time.
Preferred Knowledge/ Skills/Abilities
Familiarity with documentation management systems or other operations management systems
Experience with managing controls processes and procedures in an office and field environment
Analytical skills necessary for problem solving and decision making
