ExxonMobil Supply Chain Improve Coordinator in Spring, Texas
Job Summary
ExxonMobil is looking for outstanding candidates to be part of the ExxonMobil Product Solutions (EMPS) supply chain and contribute to the success of a growing chemical business. Supply chain coordinators are responsible for planning efficient supply chain operations and coordinating with both internal and external interfaces. Specific positions falling within this category include, but are not limited to planning/scheduling coordinator, rail operations planner, logistics and distribution (L&D) coordinator, improve advisor, process support advisor, and L&D advisor
Most positions will be located at our headquarters facilities in Spring, Texas, with others possible at our US Gulf Coast manufacturing sites. As part of ExxonMobil, you can expect to rotate through two to three assignments in the first approximately eight years allowing for a variety of experiences to build skills and knowledge. Demonstrated performance will lead to a career path with increasing responsibility and leadership opportunities within EMPS Supply Chain, other functions/business lines within EMPS, or other divisions across ExxonMobil
Primary Job Functions
Work as a member of the Americas Supply Chain team to provide planning and logistics operations support
Provide technical advice / support to daily operational issues
Perform supply chain optimization, troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking activities
Support on-going continuous improvement initiatives
Analyze complex technical issues, identify key drivers, propose strategy / recommendations to support decision-making / resolution of technical issues
Develop and execute supply chain projects, especially in the area of digital and data analytics, to drive value chain capture / creation
Job Requirements
B.S. in Chemical Engineering or other technical degree from an accredited university
5+ years supply chain experience, petrochemical / chemical / refinery industry preferred
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Team player with strong communication, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and ownership of tasks
Ability to manage multiple interfaces and prioritize work
Familiarity with SAP applications a plus
