ExxonMobil Maintenance Foreman in Williston, North Dakota
Job Summary
The Maintenance Foreman is a PSM skill based position that will oversee a majority of mechanical maintenance activities associated with gas plant, compressor station and midstream operations.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required
They will perform project oversight and steward 3rd party contractor activity
Strong safety culture and ability to oversee contractor safety management
Actively interacts with project planning, bidding/estimating, cost tracking, scheduling, effective & timely communication, alignment with business practices/controls and a high level of site maintenance activities
Plans, leads, and coordinates all activities associated with the overall execution of assigned construction project (proficient with cranes, pressure testing, purging, welding, coatings, etc.)
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Demonstrate competent skills using Microsoft office, Excel, Project and similar applicable programs
Some holiday or weekend work may be required
Duties & Responsibilities
PSM knowledge in gas plant and compressor station settings
Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with supporting departments, and promote a continuous improvement mind set
Basic knowledge of mid-stream operations
Contractor oversight and safety management
Participate/lead risk assessments and hazard observations
Solicit bids/estimates for maintenance projects
Maintains and organizes cost tracking and project documentation
Maintain safety culture and quality standards
Identifies business value and other opportunities to improve overall work and project efficiencies
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Participate in the conceptual development of a construction/maintenance project
Monitors contractor’s work for compliance with schedule, budget, quality, fety, and overall conformance with contract documents
Oversee and supervise project closeout including final paperwork, job walkthrough and any other follow up items
Provides direction, support, and acts as a resource for the director of construction to ensure that all needs are addressed
Ensures compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes
Participates in PSSRs
Promote the identification of problem areas, root causes and develop a ncise root cause analysis and lead in developing creative solutions
Manage multiple projects concurrently
Monitors contractor productivities and man power to ensure timely project completion
